Ok...so I am still stumped, but I did something else today

Alright I still can't get into painting today.  I tried a couple of things but ended up erasing them.  So maybe tomorrow I will try again.  I know I need to fix a few canvases up that my step-mom painted on and I need to sand them and put some Gesso to cover it and paint them white so that I can paint more.

So anyhow after trying that and cleaning up a little I started playi

ng Little Big Planet.  It is really fun.  I didn't get very far because Cory came home f

rom work and he showed me a few things and couldn't believe on the first level I got a higher score then he did.  We are going to get a second controler so we can play together when I get that far on the game.  He was also talking about getting some other games that are more fun with 2 players.  So we shall see.

I am debating if I want to get the new Tomb Raider 

on PS3 or PC. The only reason I would get it for the pc is because in the evenings and on weekends when he is home he is playing on the PS3.  I guess

Tomorrow is Cory's birthday.  I am making a cake and we are going to my dad and Margie's for Cake and ice cream.  Not sure if we will get something to eat to take or what.  

Well here are a few of the pictures I have painted.  I know I don't have them all on my computer yet so I will post a few that I do have.

This is my second portrait.  It a picture of Cory that I took and thought was cute, so I painted it.  He likes the way the camo on the hat turned out.

This was my 3rd portrait.  I know it isn't the best, but I think they are improving.  This one is me and my older sister when we were like 1 and 2.  It is my mom's present.  I just need to get a frame for it.

This is another oil painting.  After this I lose track of what number they are.  Just a boy and girl on a dock.  I gave this to my friends little girl and she says it was me and her when we were little.  I think that is funny.

The face really looks funny on this one...not even sure if this is the one I kept or not.  My step-mom drew on one to show me what I did wrong.  

This is my yellow and green yin and yang.  I really enjoyed doing this one.

Ok...that's all for now.  Maybe I will get some more posted tomorrow.

I am stumped!

I am so stumped.  I need to paint one more picture as a Christmas gift for Cory's mom and I have no idea what to paint.  She doesn't have many pictures hanging on her walls so I was going to do a small one she could put on here desk, but still have no flippin idea what to do for her.  

I looked at so many pictures on line to get ideas last night that I actually dreamed about pictures all night long and slept like crap.  Then I was laying there awake thinking it was time to get up and Cory got up with heartburn and it was only 4 a.m.  Well we got up anyway and made coffee.  

I paint with both acrylic and oils so far.  I want to try to paint on glass as well.  I haven't been painting long...only since like September or so of this year.  I am going to try to post a few pics here.

This is my first portrait and my first oil painting.  This is my granny when whe she was 17.  I call this one Ageless Beauty because my granny was beautiful then and beautiful to this day, both inside and out.

Well I can only get one to post for some reason right now...when I hit insert picture it just auto saves.

Well I am guess I had better get to looking up ideas for a picture for his mom...if you have any ideas...lets see she is 67 or something like that.

My First Entry

Well I haven't had a blog or anything close to it in quite some time.  I thought maybe it was time I started doing something again.

Today is just a lazy Sunday sitting here doing not much of anything.  Got dinner in the crock pot, well the main part anyway, so that is done.  Tomorrow is Art Class and I am not even sure what I am going to paint.  I know I want to do something really cool and unique as usual.  So it is time to get my creative juices flowing again and my mind just isn't wanting to think about it.

I will hopefully get back into writitng poems soon and hopefully getting some of my pictures posted on here that I have painted.

Not much of anything to write in here today, but I will promise to write some interesting things in here.  Hope you enjoy reading what I have to write.
